What do we mean by Mercy?
It is more than compassion or sympathy. It means to enter into the other person’s suffering which helps us to respond in a merciful way. We can be merciful because God is merciful. “He is gracious and slow to anger. He is abounding in kindness.” Mercy grows in us as we reflect on how God has been merciful with us.

The Year of Mercy is a chance for each of us to grow in faith. Sign up to receive a daily email blog and/or text message from the Diocese. It offers short, free, inspirational quotes or reflections on how we can daily live as Jesus asks us.
There are two easy ways to register (pick one):

Text YEAROFMERCY to 84576 from your phone and follow the instructions.
Sign up at Each day of the week provides inspiration & ideas for living mercy.
